Shion Deysarkar

Shion Deysarkar is the CEO and founder of Datafiniti. Shion has over fifteen years of experience in data science and predictive software, and has held leadership positions at both startups and large corporations.

Deysarkar started their career as an intern at HP, before moving on to found their own predictive software firm, EXC, Inc. In 2008, they joined 80legs as Chief Strategy Officer, and became CEO in 2009. Under their leadership, 80legs developed a flexible SaaS product that made web crawling accessible to anyone.

In 2011, 80legs became a product under Datafiniti, and Deysarkar took on the role of CEO and founder. Since then, they have grown Datafiniti into a leading data providers, helping businesses across a wide range of industries unlock the power of data.

Shion Deysarkar earned their MBA from the Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business and their BS in Computer Science, Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Shion also attended The Kinkaid School.
