Ana Sofia Moreira

Ana Sofia Moreira is a skilled Process Modelling Engineer currently employed at DataHow AG since November 2023. Previously, Ana was engaged in a master's thesis at i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde from February to October 2023, where deep learning models were developed for detecting High Frequency Oscillations in EEG signals. Ana gained valuable experience as a Process Modelling Engineering Intern at DataHow AG earlier in 2023, and participated in a student internship at the Technical University Eindhoven, focusing on mathematical modelling and neural networks for diabetic patient management as part of the EU Erasmus+ program. Additional internships at INESC Technology and Science involved medical image analysis, utilizing various machine learning techniques. Ana's early research experience includes a summer internship at i3S in 2018 within the "Expression Regulation in Cancer" group. Ana holds a master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, completed in October 2023.
