Jason Hewitt

Jason Hewitt has a diverse work experience in the field of software and technology. Jason started their career as a System Administrator at GLT Total Office in April 2009 and worked until May 2011. Afterward, they joined the University of South Florida as an ITS Help Desk Technician from April 2011 to June 2012. Following their work at the university, Jason joined DataLink Software in June 2012 where they held various roles over the years. Jason started as a Technical Specialist from June 2012 to April 2016. Then, they transitioned to the role of Software QA Analyst from April 2016 to December 2018. Subsequently, they became a Software QA Engineer from April 2018 to December 2022. Currently, Jason holds the position of Lead Sr Data Assurance Engineer at DataLink Software, starting from December 2022.

Jason Hewitt's education history includes three degrees and multiple certifications. Jason completed their Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics at the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, graduating between 2007 and 2012. Jason also obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Architecture from Hillsborough Community College, between 2006 and 2009.

In addition to their degrees, Jason Hewitt has acquired several certifications. These include the Certified Tester, Foundation Level from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page, obtained in October 2022. Jason holds the Microsoft certifications in Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (February 2022), Azure Data Fundamentals (January 2022), and Azure Fundamentals (December 2021). Other certifications they have achieved include VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization (November 2013), Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration 10.7 (March 2012), Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (anticipated in May 2023), and CAHIMS from HIMSS (December 2015).
