Frederik Engelen

Frederik Engelen is a seasoned Data Management Consultant at Datalumen since October 2022, previously serving as an Information Management Engineer at Axians Belgium from March 2020 to October 2022. Engelen has extensive experience with the International Db2 Users Group, including various roles on the EMEA Conference Planning Committee from January 2013 to November 2020, and as Vice President/Web Team Liaison on the Board of Directors. Engelen’s professional journey includes positions as a Data Science Engineer at Colruyt Group, Tour Guide for KrisKras Reizen, Database Administrator at M-team, and IBM N-Tier Technical Consultant at RealDolmen. Educationally, Engelen holds a degree in Industrial Engineering in Computer Science from HOGENT, completed in 2006. A personal achievement includes cycling the Silk Road, fulfilling a long-standing dream of traversing Europe and Central Asia to reach Kyrgyzstan.
