John Murphy

John Murphy has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as an Electrical Engineer at BHP New Zealand Steel in 1993. John then worked as an R&D Engineer at Tru-Test Ltd from 1994 to 1996. John continued their career as a Software Engineer at Motorola in 1996 and later joined Racal-Datacom in 1997. John then joined Tru-Test Ltd again in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they held for 20 years until 2018. From 2018 to 2022, John worked as the SaaS and Mobile Lead at Datamars Ltd. Currently, they are the Embedded Software Lead at Datamars since 2022.

John Murphy earned their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering degrees in Electronics from The University of Auckland from 1989 to 1993.
