Rushil Daya

Rushil Daya is a data engineer with a diverse background in data analytics and machine learning. Currently employed at Dataminded since November 2023, Rushil previously served as a business analyst at Evonik from December 2019 to November 2023, where responsibilities included collaborating with product owners to define functional requirements for new technologies. Prior experience also includes working as a data engineer on IoT data pipeline development for precision farming applications at Evonik, and serving as a junior data scientist at Isazi Consulting, where Rushil contributed to a machine learning-enabled document classification and verification system. In terms of education, Rushil holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven and a BSc(Eng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as a BEngSc in Biomedical Engineering, both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
