Uroš Zdešar

Uro L. currently serves as a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, focusing on alternative data alpha since July 2022. Prior experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, where research on revenue-maximizing auctions was accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro co-led the Smith Investment Fund as Co-President while engaging in systematic strategy research from September 2018 to December 2021. Additional internships at Facebook involved software engineering for both question answering assistance and civic integrity. Uro also gained experience as a Quantitative Research Intern at Millennium Management LLC, concentrating on systematic VIX and options strategy research. Uro completed a degree at the University of Maryland and attended Montgomery Blair High School's Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program.
