Máté Gulyás has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and data science. Máté started their career in 2009 as a Junior Researcher and Developer at the Biomedical Engineering Knowledge Centre at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2010, they joined Distinction Ltd. as an Android Engineer. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as the Chief Architect at Dmlab, an innovative data analytics company. In 2014, Máté co-founded Enbrite.ly and served as the CTO. Máté was also a Guest Lecturer at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they taught Big Data analytical tools and Python programming. In 2016, they founded DATAPAO and became the CEO, leading a global consulting and education company specializing in data engineering and data science. In 2018, Máté joined Databricks as a Principal Instructor & Practice Lead. Máté also organized the CRUNCH Conference, a platform for building data-driven businesses.
Máté Gulyás completed their high school education at Óbudai Gimnázium from 1998 to 2005. Máté then pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, graduating in 2012. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies in 2014.
