Vitalii Boiko

Vitalii Boiko has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career.

Starting in 2014, they worked as a Programmer for Ammeon Solutions, where they contributed to the development of the "Linux IT Platform" project for Ericsson.

In 2016, they joined Bloomberg PolarLake as a Senior Programmer, and later moved on to become the Lead Software Developer at Evolute Group AG.

In 2017, Vitalii took on the role of a Python Contractor at AON, where they worked on the Insurance Intelligence Engine using AWS, Docker, Flask, and Pandas. Later that year, they became the Lead Developer at Prozorro | Система публічних електронних закупівель Прозорро, an electronic tendering platform for the private sector. In this role, they collected requirements, transformed them into technical tasks, and implemented business logic using Python and Open Contracting-compatible data exchange format.

Continuing their career path, Vitalii joined Roomster in 2018 as the Lead Developer, where they designed and implemented the second version of the server using Flask, MongoDB, Celery, and Docker. Vitalii adopted a microservice architecture, resulting in a faster, more stable, and scalable backend.

In 2019, they became a Java/Python Developer at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, and the following year, they worked as a Python/Golang Developer at MXX / Triller UK. In this role, they improved video transcoding and CMS, created a Proof of Concept for a new authentication system, and collaborated with mobile development teams on new features.

In 2021, Vitalii worked as a Contractor for DataWit and joined dataroomHQ as the VP of Engineering. At dataroomHQ, they work on a financial risk assessment platform based on AI, utilizing techniques such as Rule Fit Classifiers, Clustering, XGBoost, and LLM.

Vitalii Boiko attended the Cherkasy Engineering and Technological Institute from 1999 to 2004. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in computer networks and systems.
