Machine Learning Engineer at dataroots

Senne Batsleer has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at dataroots since January 2022, where they are currently involved in using camera footage to investigate traffic conflicts. Prior to this, from October 2021 to December 2022, they worked as a Data Engineer at KBC, where they developed and improved pipelines using Spark and CI/CD best practices and contributed to the migration of an old data warehouse. Before these roles, Senne worked as a Tutor at Sagio.be VZW from October 2019 to September 2021.

Senne Batsleer began their education at Sint-Martinus College from 2009 to 2015, where they studied Latin-Mathematics (8h). They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven from 2015 to 2018. Following that, Senne obtained a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from KU Leuven from 2018 to 2020. Their education continued with an Advanced Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, option Big Data Analytics, at KU Leuven from 2020 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Senne has obtained several certifications. They are a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, certified by Microsoft in June 2023. They also hold the Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 certification from Databricks, obtained in March 2022. Furthermore, they are a Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, certified by Microsoft in February 2023.
