Yagmur Gulkanat

Yagmur Gulkanat has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and technology. In 2011, they started their career as a Research Assistant at Istanbul Technical University, where they managed the High-Performance Computing Lab at the Informatics Institute until 2015. They then joined Materialise as a Research Engineer, focusing on implementing fully automated segmentation algorithms using Deep Learning methods in the Medical R&D field from 2015 to 2018. After that, Yagmur worked as a Software Design Engineer at TOMRA Food, where they contributed to software development until 2021. In the same year, they took on roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at dataroots and a Machine Learning Engineer Consultant at BICS. Yagmur Gulkanat's work experience demonstrates their proficiency in machine learning, software development, and research engineering.

Yagmur completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computational Science and Engineering from Istanbul Technical University from 2011 to 2014.

Prior to that, Yagmur obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from Ege University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
