Jean Nascimento

Jean Nascimento has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and software development. Jean is currently working as a Techleader Data Engineer at Dataside since May 2022. Previously, they served as a Techleader Data Engineer at Via Varejo SA from November 2020 to April 2022.

Prior to that, Jean worked at Avanade, where they held the position of Cons, Data Engineering from December 2019 to November 2020, and as Sr Anls, Data Engineering from September 2018 to December 2019. Before joining Avanade, they worked at Informata Consultoria de Dados as an Analista de Sistema Sênior from June 2015 to September 2018. During their time at Informata, they contributed to the construction of a new product in the retail industry, utilizing Java, PHP, CSS, JS, and HTML technologies. Jean was also involved in the creation of products focused on integrating heterogeneous environments, using Pentaho as an ETL tool.

Jean's career started at Carsoft Software House as a Software Developer, where they gained valuable experience and prepared for future software development roles during their internship from August 2005 to May 2007.

Jean Nascimento has a diverse education history. In 2003 to 2005, they attended IBRATEC - Instituição Brasileira de Tecnologia, where they obtained a Técnico em Desenvolvimento de Software (Technical Degree in Software Development). From 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bacharelado em Sistema de Informação (Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems) at Estácio. In 2015, they enrolled in Universidade de Pernambuco and completed a Especialização em Engenharia de Software (Specialization in Software Engineering) with a focus on Gerenciamento e Processo de Desenvolvimento de Software (Software Development Management and Process). Simultaneously, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Governança de Tecnologia da Informação (Information Technology Governance) with a focus on Gerenciamento e Processo de Software (Software Management and Process) at Universidade Estácio de Sá.

In addition to their formal education, Jean has acquired several certifications. In 2015, they obtained the Delphi Android Essentials Certified from Embarcadero do Brasil. Jean later received the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf Exams in January 2019 and the 70-778 Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI from Microsoft in August 2019. Jean also achieved the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in August 2020. Their most recent certification is the EF Level 9 - Intermediate - CEFR Level B1 from EF English Live Brasil, which they obtained in September 2020.
