Alex Liu

Alex Liu has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Alex started their career as a Computer Analyst at IBM Toronto Lab in 2001. After that, they worked as a Software Developer at Infomediated Group Inc from 2002 to 2004. Then, they joined Virgin Mobile USA as a Senior Software Engineer from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they worked at LiveVox, Inc as a Senior Java Developer from 2008 to 2011. Alex then joined Betfair as a Senior Software Engineer for a brief period from March 2011 to November 2011. After that, they moved to Demandforce as a Lead Engineer and developed data processing systems and network event tracking systems. Currently, they are working at DataStax as a Senior Software Engineer and has been involved in the development of DataStax Enterprise Server since April 2012.

Alex Liu completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 2001. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1995.
