Ankit Vaity

Ankit Vaity has a diverse work experience. Ankit started their career in 2020 as a FrontEnd React Developer at Codezen Tech Solutions, where they led a team of 4 front-end developers in building progressive web applications using React.js. Ankit successfully improved page load time and page rank by migrating an existing React CSR app to an SSR app using Next.js. In 2022, Ankit worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, contributing to research projects. Ankit then joined DataStax as a Software Developer, where they enhanced code quality and reduced bugs in a GraphQL server by introducing strong static typing using TypeScript and implementing schema merging techniques. Ankit also re-architected the GraphQL server following best patterns for improved source code maintenance. Continuing their journey with DataStax, Ankit's current role is a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Ankit Vaity completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, from 2015 to 2019. Ankit is currently pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is expected to graduate in 2023.
