Kathryn E. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kathryn currently works at DataStax, where they have held multiple positions since 2014. Their roles at DataStax include Strategy, Corp Strategy and IR, Cloud & Ecosystem, Self Service & Product Led Growth, Corporate Strategy, and Senior Director of Ecosystem Partners. Kathryn is involved in shaping the future of cloud native data and scalable app development. Prior to DataStax, Kathryn worked at Fusion-io, a SanDisk Company, as a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering, where they focused on evangelizing Flash technology and managing the pre-sales engineering team for the Federal business. Before that, they worked at MITRE as a Senior Information Systems Engineer, at the National Science Foundation as an Integrative Activities Specialist, at the FBI as a Consultant, and at the University of Southern Mississippi as a Network Administrator.

Kathryn E. pursued their education in a chronological order, beginning with a Computer Networking program at Holmes Community College from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained their Associate of Arts degree. Kathryn then pursued further studies at The University of Southern Mississippi from 2002 to 2004, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. Subsequently, they attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a Masters's degree in Information Security.
