Raheel Afzal

Raheel Afzal has a diverse work experience in the field of IT services and software development. Raheel founded and served as the CEO of DatumSquare IT Services. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the performance of senior managers and team leaders. Raheel also co-founded Code Movement Pakistan, an organization focused on promoting coding and software development skills in Pakistan.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Raheel has held various corporate memberships and board positions. Raheel is a corporate member of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, OPEN Islamabad, and Pakistan Agile Development Society.

Raheel Afzal has a diverse education history. In 1999, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of the Punjab, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics, completing it in 2001. In 2002, Raheel enrolled at the University of Management and Technology (IAT Islamabad) for a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, which they earned in 2003. Raheel furthered their education at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Islamabad, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2004 to 2006.

In 2011, Raheel decided to delve into project management and enrolled in the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology for a Master's degree in Project Management, which they completed in 2013.

Throughout their educational journey, Raheel also earned numerous certifications. In 2008, they obtained the MCTS certification from Microsoft.
