Janis Petit

Janis Petit has a diverse work experience in the field of information system security and engineering. Janis started their career at L-3 Communications as a Systems Engineer in November 2002 and worked there until February 2007. Janis then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Technical Analyst, Project Manager, and Systems Engineer from March 2007 to October 2013. Janis continued their career at Jacobs Technology as an AOC PC IA Lead, providing guidance on the use of IT products for the Air Operations Center Weapon System program from March 2014 to August 2016. Next, they worked at MaCauley Brown as an Information System Security Manager from September 2016 to August 2017. Currently, Janis is employed at Datum Software Inc. as an Information System Security Manager from September 2017.

Janis Petit obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Tampa in the years 1997 to 1999. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Troy University from 1999 to 2002. Janis also holds multiple certifications, including being a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional obtained in April 2009, a Project Management Professional obtained in March 2014, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional obtained in March 2012.
