Nikki Sanchez is a highly experienced professional actively engaged in various roles focused on Indigenous governance, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Currently a panelist on the Early Edition at CBC and a keynote speaker for Keynote Speakers Canada Inc., Nikki also serves as the founder and director of Decolonize Together and the co-founder of the Awi'nakola Foundation. With a background as a guest editor for the Royal BC Museum and a JEDI consultant for Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort, Nikki has also contributed to Indigenous programming at TELUS and held the title of Queen of Green at the David Suzuki Foundation. Additional involvement includes serving as a board member for the Sierra Club BC and as Activities Director for Clayoquot Wilderness Resort. Academically, Nikki is pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Indigenous Governance at the University of Victoria, building upon previous degrees in Indigenous Governance, Environmental Science, and Cultural Anthropology.
