Deanna Dixon has a strong and extensive work experience in the legal field. Deanna started their career at BODMAN, LLP in 1994, where they worked as an Associate, specializing in Real Estate/Banking, Municipal Law/Finance, and Corporate Law. Deanna then joined Ford Credit in 2001, serving as Counsel and handling real estate-based lending transactions. In 2009, they became a Senior Attorney at Clark Hill PLC, where they provided legal advice and led teams on lending transactions for Ford Motor Credit Company. Deanna then worked at PulteGroup, Inc. as Assistant General Counsel from 2010 to 2016 and Assistant General Counsel Operational Compliance from 2016 to 2017, providing legal support for commercial transactions. Deanna briefly joined Smith Douglas Homes as Assistant General Counsel in 2018 and Century Communities, Inc. as Assistant Regional Counsel in 2019. In 2019, they also worked at Axiom as a Technology and Commercial Contracts Attorney. Deanna served as Atlanta East Division Counsel at D.R. Horton from 2020 to 2021 before joining Davidson Homes as Vice President, Corporate Counsel in 2021. Throughout their career, Deanna has demonstrated expertise in providing legal advice and support, negotiating and drafting contracts, and collaborating with various departments to implement initiatives.

Deanna Dixon completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan from 1983 to 1987. Deanna then pursued further education at the Howard University School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 1988 to 1991.
