Hanqing Shi

Hanqing Shi began their work experience in 2005 as an Analyst in the Structured Credit Group at Deutsche Bank, where they executed a variety of structured private placements. In 2007, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Associate in the Strategic Finance Group, focusing on structured private credit and equity trades. From 2008 to 2009, Hanqing worked as an Associate at Mount Kellett Capital Management. In 2010, they became the Vice President at GCL Capital Management, specializing in venture capital and private equity investment in the Pan-Asia region. After that, Hanqing worked at Morgan Stanley again as a Vice President from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they serve as a Managing Director at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a position they have held since January 2021.

Hanqing Shi attended Peking University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance. Hanqing then continued their education at Peking University from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Master's degree in Finance.
