Johnny Lin

Johnny Lin is an experienced investment professional with a focus on special situations and credit investments. Currently employed at Davidson Kempner Capital Management since April 2023, Johnny specializes in Greater China special situations, distressed, and public and private credit investment within a firm managing over US$38 billion in assets. Previously, Johnny worked at Goldman Sachs from May 2022 to April 2023 in a similar role focused on special situations and private credit investment, contributing to a global AUM of US$80 billion. Prior experience includes a role at Ares Management Corporation from October 2019 to April 2022, where Johnny also specialized in special situations and private credit within a firm with US$350 billion in assets. Johnny's career began at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included an IBD Associate position from January 2017 to August 2019 and an IBD Internship in the summer of June 2016. Johnny obtained a degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology between 2012 and 2016.
