Ross Bayliss has extensive work experience in the field of health, safety, and environmental management. Ross began their career in 2005 as a Site Health & Safety Adviser at Shepherd Construction Ltd. In 2007, they joined UKR Ltd as a Company Safety Manager, and then returned to Shepherd Construction Ltd in 2008 as a Company SHE Adviser until 2010. Ross spent the next seven years at Simons Construction Ltd as an HSQE, and then joined Mattest Midlands Ltd as a Manager for a brief period in 2017. Since February 2021, Ross has been working at Davidsons Homes, initially as a Health & Safety Manager, and currently as the Health, Safety & Environmental Director.
Ross Bayliss started their education at Newcastle University in 1999, where they studied Computer and Information Sciences as well as Surveying and Mapping Science. Ross completed their studies there in 2000. In 2000, Ross enrolled at the University of Leeds, where they pursued a degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Management. Ross completed their studies at the University of Leeds in 2003. After a gap of several years, Ross returned to academia in 2008 to pursue a Nebosh diploma at the University of Warwick. Ross successfully completed this program in 2013.
