Wes Martin

Wes Martin is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience at the Davie County Sheriff's Office since February 2006, currently serving as Captain, overseeing a division of 46 deputies with responsibilities including patrol, school resource officers, and special assignments. Previously held roles within the Sheriff's office include Lieutenant and Sergeant in the Narcotics Division. Additionally, Wes serves as a BLET General Instructor at Davidson-Davie Community College and Forsyth Technical Community College, focusing on subjects such as narcotics and investigations. From 2009 to 2019, Wes was a Homeland Security Investigations Task Force Officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, specializing in bulk cash and narcotics smuggling. As President of the Davie County Law Enforcement Association from 2012 to 2017, Wes contributed to the professional development of law enforcement personnel. Wes holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Davidson County Community College and has completed studies at Emory & Henry University.
