Melissa Gates

Melissa Gates is a seasoned Registered Nurse with extensive experience in healthcare, currently serving at Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. since February 2020. Previous roles include a homemaker position from January 2004 to January 2023 and volunteer medical support staff for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, contributing to various youth activities while adapting to a military lifestyle. Early career experience includes working as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical Floor at Sentara Healthcare, specializing in cancer and hematological diseases from April 2000 to December 2002. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Valdosta State University and has completed a Registered Nurse Refresher Course at the College of Southern Maryland.
