Lorene Miner Kamalu

Lorene Miner Kamalu is an experienced public servant currently serving as an Elected Commissioner for Davis County Government since January 2019, where responsibilities include executive and legislative duties. Prior to this role, Lorene served as a Planning Commissioner for Kaysville City from January 2014 to June 2018, focusing on updating the city's general plan amidst growth challenges. Additional experience includes working as an Operations & Culture Analyst at Shoeta from June 2014 to May 2016, where Lorene contributed to operational improvements and company culture enhancements. Earlier career achievements include being a Consultant & Leader at CM Group Holdings, Inc., managing a sales organization of 320 consultants, and serving as a Public Relations Executive Assistant at Monsanto Company. Lorene holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Business Human Resources from Brigham Young University.
