Mike Merchant

Mike Merchant has worked as a TCCC/CLS Instructor at Davis Defense Group, Inc. since 2012. Mike'srole involves teaching Air Force personnel and contractors who are deploying overseas in the Middle East, Africa, and South America. The training focuses on qualifying students in CLS and TCCC, covering topics such as self-aid/buddy aid, care under fire, tactical field care, and the proper use of a 9-line brief. Prior to this, they worked as a Combat Skills Instructor at SCG International from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they were involved in pre-deployment training for Air Force Air Advisors preparing to mobilize to Iraq and Afghanistan. The curriculum included high threat driving, CLS, land navigation, and shooting, with a focus on teaching the required learning objectives and instilling basic warfighting principles.

Mike Merchant attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science with a focus on Heavy Construction.
