Jill Ater is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in career advising, coaching, and advocacy for individuals facing challenges related to Parkinson's disease. Since December 2016, Jill has contributed as a Volunteer Career Advisor at the Rainbow Center, focusing on the Tacoma LGBTQA community. As an Ambassador for the Davis Phinney Foundation since November 2015, Jill promotes the message of Living Well Everyday with Parkinson's disease. Jill is also a Career and Life Coach with Powerlift Your Life!, employing a unique motivational system to help clients transition to fulfilling careers. Previously, Jill founded and coordinated the Santa Ynez Valley Parkinson's Disease Support Group, implementing support initiatives in the community. With a background as COO and Founder of 10 til 2, LLC—the first staffing agency exclusively for part-time college-educated professionals—and leadership roles in organizations like the Million Mom March and the U.S. Department of State, Jill combines expertise in management, community engagement, and personal development. Jill earned a BA in Psychology from UC San Diego and has been influential in multiple advocacy and support initiatives.
