Khurram Mehtabdin

Khurram Mehtabdin currently serves as the Chief of Nephrology at Peconic Bay Medical Center and Medical Director at DaVita Kidney Care. An Assistant Professor of Medicine at Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine since July 2017, Khurram also practiced as a Physician at South Shore University Hospital until July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Nephrology Fellow at Northwell Health and Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Khurram co-created and wrote for the comic series Zindan at Roaring Sun Studios from 2012 to 2019. Academically, Khurram holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Government, as well as International Relations and National Security Studies from Syracuse University.
