James Powell

James Powell has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. James is the Co-founder, CFO, and Spaceplane Chief Engineer at Dawn Aerospace, where they focus on making space transportation more scalable and accessible.

James is also an Adviser in Aerospace at the University of Canterbury, serving on their Industry Advisory Board.

In the past, James has worked at the Civil Aviation Authority New Zealand as a Design Engineering Delegate, where they were authorized to approve aircraft design modifications.
