Sabhín O'Sullivan's work experience begins in 2020, where they first worked as a Product Design Intern at the Consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies. Here, they were the main product designer for the Autothermo project, working on the device's aesthetics, conducting user research sessions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. After this, they interned as a UX Design Intern at The Big Idea - Ireland, assisting with a design education initiative for secondary school students.
Sabhín then worked as a UX/UI Designer at Digihub, where they developed interfaces for Redresser, focusing on communication facilitation, administration tasks, and machinery operation. They also worked as a Graphic Designer at Continuous Software, creating screen-based designs and promotional material for clients.
In 2020, Sabhín joined WhyDesign as a Creative Events Coordinator, contributing to online talk sessions showcasing women in the Irish Design Sector. Currently, they are employed as a Junior Digital Product Designer at Dawn Health.
Sabhín O'Sullivan began their education journey in 2010 at Loreto Secondary School Balbriggan, where they completed their Leaving Certificate in 2016. Sabhín then pursued higher education and attended ENSCI-Les Ateliers from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial and Product Design. In 2019, they briefly studied at University College Dublin, focusing on Engineering. Following that, Sabhín O'Sullivan enrolled at the National College of Art & Design, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Product Design from 2016 to 2020. Sabhín'seducational pursuits continued as they attended Designskolen Kolding from 2020 to 2022, earning a Master of Arts degree in Design for People.
