Michal Mayer

Michal Mayer, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead Research and Development Scientist at Day 8 since February 2024. Prior to this role, Michal was a Ph.D. student and researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science from December 2018 to June 2023, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry was completed. Additional experience includes positions as a Teaching Assistant for the "Science of Drugs" course at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from March 2017 to August 2018 and as an Academic Instructor at SciTech Technion in July 2017. Earlier experience includes working as a Laboratory Assistant in the Chemical and Surface Analysis Lab at Technion from 2013 to 2015. Michal holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Technion, obtained between March 2016 and March 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biochemistry from Technion, completed in August 2015.
