Gareth Cowen

Gareth Cowen is a skilled visualisation artist with extensive experience in the film and animation industries. Currently employed at Day for Nite since September 2021, Gareth has previously worked as a previs artist at The Third Floor, Inc., contributing to projects such as "LotR Rings of Power." Prior roles include positions at Weta Digital, Animal Logic, and MPC, where notable work encompassed titles like "Godzilla vs Kong" and "Aquaman." With a strong background in previs and layout, Gareth held multiple leadership roles in projects at Day for Nite from 2016 to 2018 and served as a supervisor at The Third Floor, Inc. Furthermore, Gareth has shared knowledge as an animation lecturer at JMC Academy and as a layout consultant at Marza Animation Planet, fostering skills in animation and layout techniques. Gareth's educational foundation includes completed studies in Animation at Griffith University and a Diploma in Graphic Design from TAFE NSW.
