Lisa McLeod, MD, MSCE has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lisa is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director at Day One Biopharmaceuticals since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Eli Lilly and Company as the Senior Medical Director, Immunology from June 2021 to August 2022. Lisa also held the position of Pediatric Clinical Director at Pfizer's Pediatric Center of Excellence from April 2020 to May 2021. In addition, Lisa served as the Medical Director of Drug Safety at Array BioPharma Inc. from February 2019 to April 2020. Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, they worked at Children's Hospital Colorado as the Director of the Pediatric Surgical Outcomes Research Center, Center for Children’s Surgery and as an Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in Pediatric Hospital Medicine from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Fellowship Director in the Hospitalist Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2015 to 2017. Lisa also gained valuable experience at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where they were an Instructor and Attending Physician in Pediatrics from 2009 to 2013, and a Fellow in Academic General Pediatrics from 2009 to 2011. Lisa began their medical career as a Resident in Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 2007 to 2008, and as an Intern in Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2005 to 2007. Finally, Lisa started their professional journey as a Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from May 1998 to June 2000.

Lisa McLeod, MD, MSCE completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh between 1993 and 1997. Lisa then pursued their medical education at Harvard Medical School from 2000 to 2005, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In 2008, they obtained certification from the American Board of Pediatrics. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Epidemiology.
