James Pennington

James Pennington is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and systems administration. Currently serving as Principal Cloud Architect at Dayforce since April 2023, James previously held the position of Cloud Solutions Architect at Microsoft, where key responsibilities included leading technical engagements and enabling cloud adoption frameworks for GPS Canada. Prior to Microsoft, James was a Senior Systems Architect at Ceridian, responsible for global infrastructure supporting the Dayforce SaaS platform. James's career also includes roles at Knowledge First Financial, US Traffic, SITEL Corporation, MPC Circuits Limited, GTN Communications Corporation, Rockwell Automation Control Systems, and Fort James Corporation. James holds an education degree from Fanshawe College, completed in 2001.
