Art Benjamin

Art Benjamin has extensive work experience in the petroleum industry. Art is currently working as the Vice President of Operations at Daylight Petroleum since February 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Consultant from December 2021 to February 2023. Before joining Daylight Petroleum, Art held multiple positions at QEP Resources, including General Manager of the Northern Region from July 2017 to December 2021, Director of Production Operations from August 2016 to July 2017, and Sr. Staff Operations Engineer from July 2015 to July 2016. Art also worked at Samson Resources as an Operations Manager from June 2013 to April 2015 and as a Sr. District Operations Engineer from September 2012 to June 2013. Art's earlier experience includes working as a Completion Engineer at EP ENERGY from July 2010 to August 2012 and at Devon Energy as both a Completion Engineer and a Reservoir Engineer from 1999 to 2010.

Art Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In 2004, they obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
