Miles Weida is a Senior Scientist at Daylight Solutions, where a focus is on Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) based molecular detection and imaging systems since June 2005. Prior to this role, Miles held the position of Senior Scientist at Wyatt Technology from July 2000 to June 2005, specializing in innovative light scattering instruments for macromolecular characterization. Earlier experience includes a NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Advanced Research Laboratory, Hitachi, from August 1998 to June 2000, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Chemistry Department at Indiana University from August 1996 to June 1998. Miles began a research career as a Research Assistant at JILA, University of Colorado at Boulder from June 1991 to August 1996. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.A. in Physics from Colorado College.
