Eva Gladek has a diverse work experience in various sustainability-focused roles. Eva is the Founder and CEO of Metabolic, an ecosystem of organizations that advises governments, businesses, and NGOs on transitioning to a sustainable global economy. Eva also co-founded Dayrize.com, a consumer marketplace for sustainable products. Eva has worked as an Expert and Strategist at Circle Economy and as a Technical Director, Industrial Ecologist, and Sustainability Consultant at Except Integrated Sustainability. Additionally, they have experience as a Writer and Researcher at the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, a Project Manager at the Green Electronics Council, and a Research Assistant at GreenBlue. Eva's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Producer and Writer at ScienCentral News, a Lab Technician at the Marine Biological Laboratory, and a Production Assistant at Camera Planet.

Eva Gladek began their education at the United Nations International School (UNIS) from 1989 to 2001, where they obtained an IB diploma and became bilingual in French and English. Eva then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology at Amherst College from 2001 to 2005. In 2004, they also participated in the Williams-Mystic program at Williams College. Eva later attended Yale University and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master's in Industrial Environmental Management (Industrial Ecology) and Environmental Management, respectively.
