Faizal Jaafar has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Faizal started their career as a Programmer at Suppreme Applied Technology Sdn Bhd, where they were responsible for designing web-based systems using PHP, ASP, MySQL, and SQL Server. Faizal then worked as an Application Consultant at Isianpadu Systems Sdn Bhd, contributing to the development of School Management System and e-Kehadiran. After that, they joined Bake 180 Sdn Bhd as a System Architect, leading projects and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

In 2013, Faizal became the Lead PHP Developer at T Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd, where they developed an e-construction solution as the lead developer using Laravel framework. Faizal then worked as a Freelance PHP Developer, predominantly using Laravel, Ubuntu Linux, and GIT. Following that, they were a Senior PHP Developer at Sam Media and contributed to the development projects.

In 2017, Faizal briefly worked as a Fulltime Freelance PHP Developer and was responsible for the back-end development of mobile application projects using Laravel 5.4, VueJS, Docker, and ES6. Faizal then joined senangPay, where they held multiple roles including Manager - IT & Infrastructure, Senior Application Specialist, and IT Lead. In these positions, they were involved in various responsibilities such as PHP MySQL development, server management (including PCI-DSS, Windows server, CentOS, HyperV), payment gateway integration, credit card fraud analysis, technical support, automatic deployment, and answering questions.

Faizal's most recent role is as a DevOps Engineer at DaySmart Vet, where they manage the DevOps infrastructure.

Faizal Jaafar completed their education at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned the Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the Malaysian Software Testing Board (MSTB), although the specific institution and detailed timeline for obtaining this certification are not provided.
