Daniela Thrän

Daniela Thrän has extensive experience in the field of bioenergy. Daniela has held various roles at different organizations, including the Helmholtz Association, where they were a TOPIC-Speaker in the Technology, Innovations and Society Research Programme. Daniela has also served as the Head of the Department "Bioenergy" at the Helmholtz Centre of Environmental Research (UFZ) and as the Holder of the chair "Bioenergy Systems" at the University of Leipzig. Prior to that, they were the Head of the Department "Bioenergy Systems" and Deputy Scientific Managing Director at the German Biomass Research Centre (DBFZ).

Daniela Thrän attended Technische Universität Berlin for an unspecified period, completing engineering studies in "Technical environmental protection" in 1998.
