Mahyar Ghasemali

Mahyar Ghasemali has worked in the software development industry for over 19 years. From 2001 to 2009, they worked at Telarix, where they held the roles of Director of Client Services, Software Development Manager, and Software Engineer. In 2007, they joined LogiXML as Director Software Development, where they built a team of 6 developers to design modular and scalable solutions with the ability to connect and collect data from third party APIs. During their time at LogiXML, they launched two new SaaS products. In 2013, they became President and Co-Founder of dbSeer, a business analytics, big data, and database consulting firm. As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, they helped customers migrate and optimize their data platforms on the AWS cloud, designed and architected a new marketing management data warehouse solution, and setup and configured a Hadoop cluster over Amazon cloud.

Mahyar Ghasemali began their educational journey in 1995 when they attended Azad University - Tehran, where they earned a B.S in Computer Science in 1999. In 2018, they attended Harvard Business School Online and obtained a CORe Credential of Readiness. Mahyar also has four certifications: SQL Server 2012 from Microsoft (obtained in July 2013), Cloudera Hadoop Developer Certification and Cloudera Hadoop Administrator Certification (both obtained in December 2012), and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner (obtained in August 2019).
