Luciano Sampaio

Luciano Sampaio is a skilled software developer currently working as a Software Developer II at DB since June 2022, contributing to the AEL Systems avionics project. In addition to this role, Luciano is also a Projetista eletrônico at Startchê Robotics since July 2023. Previously, Luciano held various positions at Gerdau from August 2017 to June 2022, demonstrating expertise as an Eletricista de Manutenção III, focusing on predictive asset analysis, programmable logic controllers, and electrical maintenance in the steelmaking sector. Prior roles included positions as Eletricista de Manutenção and an internship in technical support with a focus on electric arc furnace maintenance. Luciano also served as a part-time professor at Microlins, teaching basic robotics, and was a scientific initiation fellow at IFSUL on the "SmartLeg" project, aimed at developing assistive technology. Educationally, Luciano is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and holds degrees in Control and Automation Engineering and Mechatronics from IFSUL.
