Meredith Fuchs

Meredith Fuchs serves as the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Plaid, overseeing legal, policy, risk, compliance, and privacy teams since August 2020. Fuchs is also a Board Director and Executive Committee Member of the Financial Technology Association and serves as Board Director and Assistant Treasurer for the DC Bar Foundation, which funds civil legal aid in Washington, D.C. Previously, Fuchs held senior legal roles at Capital One and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, among others. Fuchs began a legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Patricia M. Wald and has held leadership positions at The National Security Archive and Wiley Rein LLP. Fuchs holds a JD from New York University School of Law, a B.Sc. in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a diploma from Phillips Exeter Academy.
