Matthew Mumpower

Matthew Mumpower has a diverse and extensive work history in the field of engineering and data center design. Matthew began their career at RMF Engineering, Inc. in 2006, where they served as a Co-Op before progressing to the roles of Project Designer and eventually Project Engineer. In 2016, they joined Syska Hennessy Group, where they held multiple positions including Mechanical Engineer IV, Senior Engineer/Associate, Mechanical Department Lead, and Associate Partner. Matthew then transitioned to kW Mission Critical Engineering in 2020, where they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer until 2023. Currently, they are the Sr. Director of Data Center Design & Engineering at DC BLOX, starting in November 2023.

Matthew Mumpower attended North Carolina State University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matthew also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from NCEES.
