Michael Hentrel

Michael Hentrel is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at the DC Housing Finance Agency since April 2018. Previous roles include Counsel at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from October 2010 to March 2018, and Associate General Counsel at Fannie Mae from October 2006 to October 2010. Michael also held the position of Deputy General Counsel at the National Capital Revitalization Corporation from June 2002 to October 2006 and worked as a Senior Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from May 2000 to June 2002. Early in Michael's career, roles included Attorney at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and Associate at Shaw Pittman Potts Trowbridge. Michael began the legal journey as a Summer Associate at Peterson and Ross.
