Cody Long

Cody W. Long is an experienced educator currently serving as the ATL and Family Coordinator and Experiential Arts Teacher at DCI - District of Columbia International School, a role held since November 2020. Responsibilities include designing and implementing a social and emotional learning curriculum for 1,600 students, facilitating professional development, and developing the Experiential Art curriculum based on local museum visits. Previous positions include Grants and Development Manager at DCI, where fundraising efforts and Alumni programming were key focuses, and School and Teacher Programs Coordinator at Chrysler Museum of Art, where Cody Long planned programs for K-12 students and teachers. Additionally, roles at DCI included Individuals and Societies and Learning Support Teacher, and Director of Student Life. Cody Long was also a founding Bilingual Art and Theatre Teacher and has experience mentoring Spanish teachers with Teach For America, as well as teaching Spanish at various educational institutions. Cody W. Long holds a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Temple University.
