Jeffrey Thompson

Jeffrey Thompson, P.E. is an accomplished water and wastewater utility executive with extensive experience in operations, engineering, and management. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at DC Water since May 2023, Jeffrey also holds a position on the Board of Directors for Blue Drop, LLC, the non-profit affiliate of DC Water. Previously, Jeffrey held the role of Assistant General Manager for Operations and Technical Services at the Birmingham Water Works Board, overseeing a large utility that serves over 770,000 customers. Other notable positions include Vice President at CES Consultants, Director of NMB Water for the City of North Miami Beach, and various leadership roles at Providence Water Supply Board and the City of Cocoa. Jeffrey holds an Executive MBA from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
