Gary O'Malley

Gary O'Malley is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in infrastructure management and technical support. Since July 2011, Gary has served as the Head of IT Infrastructure at DCA Design International, where the implementation of virtualization using vSphere and NetApp storage has significantly enhanced business continuity and disaster recovery, resulting in a 95% reduction in yearly outsourcing costs. Prior to this role, Gary worked at Sims Metal Management Limited as a Technical Support Analyst and Network Administrator, providing comprehensive network support across numerous UK and European sites. Earlier experience includes a position as a Technical Support Analyst at 1st Software, where Gary facilitated tailored applications for financial advisors. Educational qualifications include studies in Computer Maintenance and Networking as well as A Levels in Mathematics and Physics.
