Laurent Schmitt

Laurent Schmitt has a long history of work experience, beginning with AREVA T&D in 2000, where they held the role of Sales & Services Director. In 2003, they moved to AREVA T&D Automation as Marketing Director. In 2007, they returned to AREVA T&D as Strategy & Business Development Director. In 2008, they moved to Alstom Power as Vice-President Strategy & Innovation. In 2010, they moved to Alstom Grid as Vice President Smartgrids Solutions. In 2015, they moved to GE Grid Solutions as Global Smart Grid Strategy Leader. In 2017, they moved to ENTSO-E as General Secretary. In 2021, they moved to Digital4Grids as President and to dcbel as Head of Utilities & European Developments.

Laurent Schmitt attended CentraleSupélec from 1993 to 1996 and then attended the INSEAD-Alstom Advanced Management Seminar at INSEAD from 2009 to 2010. No additional certifications were obtained.
