Kathleen Cürten

Kathleen C. is a Senior Manager at the Australian Government, focusing on enhancing the data capabilities of financial investigators through data analytics and collaboration to combat financial crime. Additionally, Kathleen serves as a Lecturer at UNSW Business School, where efforts are directed towards developing a forensic accounting fraud unit. Previously, Kathleen held a similar position at Macquarie University, designing the first Masters of Forensic Accounting course and online CA Forensic Accounting Specialisation Accreditation course. As a lead Senior Forensic Accountant at the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption, key achievements included implementing data analytics to improve investigations and creating recognized forensic accounting procedures.
