Antonio Pedivellano's work experience includes:
- Lead Deployables Engineer at DcubeD (Deployables Cubed GmbH) since August 2021.
- Graduate Student at Caltech from September 2016 to June 2021.
- Internship at Micro and Nano Mechanics Laboratory at Northwestern University in March 2016 to June 2016. During this time, they worked on experimental characterization and computational modeling of synthetic and biological materials, including optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, 3D optical surface profiling, nanoindentation, AFM nanoindentation, and 3-point bending tests. Antonio also utilized finite element analysis to optimize the mechanical properties of nanocomposite materials.
Antonio Pedivellano completed their High School Diploma at Liceo Classico "L. Valli" from 2006 to 2011. Antonio then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Aeronautical Curriculum at Università degli Studi di Palermo from 2011 to 2014.
Continuing their academic journey, Antonio obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo between 2014 and 2016. During this time, they also had the opportunity to visit Northwestern University as a Visiting Scholar at the McCormick School of Engineering in 2016.
Antonio then proceeded to pursue further studies at Caltech, where they obtained a Master's degree in Space Engineering from 2016 to 2017. Building upon their Master's degree, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Space Engineering at Caltech from 2017 to 2021.
In addition to their academic achievements, Antonio Pedivellano also acquired the IELTS 7.0 certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in July 2015.
